mkmk (astarlessreader) It's about their relationship and how un-perfect it was. She has read hair he keeps mentioning. They divorce because she doesn't want to have a child and she marries another. At the end she has cancer and thinks shes still married to the main character. He visits her in the hospital and pretends they're still together until she dies.

Gray, around what year did you read this book?

What's the tone - romantic, sad, angsty, steamy, etc.?

Can you tell us more about the main characters - their ages, the type of art he creates, her job/interests, how they met, etc.?

Location - U.S./country/region, big city/small town?

Added a spoiler alert to the topic header.

they are in their 20s or 30s, young i'd say. i think they live in holland? im completely unsure about that one, tho.
the tone is sad overall, but there are very rpmantic moments that happened between the characters. also, sex is mentioned as well as a description of her naked body. but the book is about their relationshop and the downfall of it, mostly sad.

i remember he is an artist, has a studio, for her i only know she has red hair. theres a scene when theyre both in a car in snow, stuck.

thank you for adding a spoiler alert!
