message 62: by Sharon (new)

Sharon PLB (sharonlpb) | 234 comments Oh, the irony. I pick a book set in Oklahoma (What the Cat Saw)! thinking it would be hot. But it's winter. Then I pick a book set in Canada, and it's summer. So for my hot weather and fourth book, I have finished A Rule Against Murder by Louise Penny.

message 73: by Anne Louise (new)

Anne Louise Bannon | 30 comments Haven't completed, by any stretch. But did read not one, but two books with dogs: The Girl with Kaleidoscope Eyes (Stewart Hoag Mystery) by David Handler and Murder at the Puppy Fest (Melanie Travis, #20) by Laurien Berenson .

And don't know if this counts, but title-wise sounds good: Hot and Bothered (Bel Barrett, #7) by Jane Isenberg .

Hope you don't mind me playing when I don't spend a lot of time here. Trying to rectify that. It's a little easier for me to look at the challenge and figure out what fits from what I've already read, if that makes sense.

Everyone is welcome to play Anne. Looking forward to more comments from you.

The MC in Jane Isenberg's series is a woman going through menopause. Hot and Bothered refers to hot flashes. I think the book takes place during the fall.

Hey Julie,

I wasn't sure if you were aware that this is an old challenge, 2 years old, and it's been archived.

This is the current challenge that is going on for summer 2019:
Agatha Christie challenge.
