I finally say it yesterday! I listened to the audiobook read by Wil Wheaton a couple years ago. I knew at the time that a faithful film adaptation couldn't be done, but I think that they captured the spirit of the novel.

Did anyone else spot the police box (TARDIS)?
That was my "look!" moment.

My "look" moment was when I saw the demon mouth portal symbol on the back of the mail truck. That refers back to something in the book. Anyone who ever played the 'Tomb of Horrors' D&D scenario would recognize it:)
