Kathy Cohen | 70 comments I just did a Kindle freeby of my newest comic mystery, "Hung Up in Bemidji" and am wondering what the results will be. It reached 2nd place in Germany as an English language mystery and an English language western.

I've sold several copies of the paperback prequel this weekend, "Bullwhacked", but I have no way of knowing if that's as a result of the giveaway or not.

I listed it on Amazon as a western and a mystery. I'm curious about what the result would be if I list it under comedy and mystery (you can only select two genres).

Anyone have any thoughts?

Literary purgatory. A humorous mystery is going to get more attention than a mysterious humor book. I think you've got it in the right categories. Western especially - there are bound to be folks who want to read that specific genre.

Kathy Cohen | 70 comments Thanks! That makes sense, Joel.
