When we realize that Clive is still alive, we also learn of his plan to deliver Vanessa and Wade lots of misinformation to distract them from his true location. Do you think Gideon was also okay if they got killed in the effort?

[Anita]

Gideon would have been just fine if they were killed searching for Clive. Why? I couldn't understand in the beginning. But, I got very nasty vibes from him and really didn't understand how Clive could trust him.

[Charlene]

I was also with you there, Anita.

[Jonetta]

I think Clive wasn't left with many choices and knew Gideon was crazy. He seemed to be using him as long as he could and didn't want Vanessa mixed up in this mess, especially after what happened to Charlie.

It just seemed like it would have been better if Clive had connected with Vanessa, even by phone, and made her leave.

[Anita]

That, of course, was the reasonable thing to do, but plot wise, Vanessa had to keep looking for him.

[Robin]

Gideon didn't care what happened to Wade and Vanessa. Clive wanted them off his trail so they wouldn't get hurt. I don't know why he would trust Gideon to get the job done.
