Wade seemed completely unprepared for the whirlwind called Vanessa Porter. Did he mishandle her from the start or take his time to figure her out?

[Anita]

Vanessa was not at all what he expected and he was totally unprepared for the nasty response he go from her on his first contact. But, Wade was a quick study and figured her out pretty quickly.

[Charlene]

I think he waltzed into this with the idea that he'd wrap up his part in the story, get Vanessa back to the US of A pronto, then have a chance for that vacation after all.

[Jonetta]

Yeah, he had no idea who he was dealing with. Took him a bit to adjust, too. If he'd known, I'm sure he'd have cut her off earlier.

[Anita]

Her outright antagonism really threw him. The her utter distain for her birth mother and her sisters really had him rethinking what he had gotten himself into.

[Robin]

I agree, Charlene. Wade thought this would be an easy deal and he'd get a vacation out of it. He had to re-think his approach after the first meeting.
