SOLVED. Romance girl walks in on guy and misunderstands what is happening. [s]

Don't remember much, but here is what i remember:

The H is in his upstairs bedroom either in a towel or nude cause he just got out of shower. He here a noise an turns around thinking it is the h (either he was expecting her or he assumed she may have forgotten something) only to see his ex girlfriend or the last girl who he use to have casual sex with. He asks her why she is there and she tells him how she misses him an wants him back. He tells her no and try to get her to leave but she won't (i think at one point she may have taken off her coat and was necked underneath but not sure) leave an she i think walks up to him an touches him all the while trying to get her to leave.
Meanwhile the h shows up an sees the door ajar and hears voices so she follows the voices up the stairs to the bedroom where she sees the H in towel or nude with a woman with him who may also be necked an assumes that he was cheating on her an turned and runs down the stairs and out the door. Sorry but that is all i remember. Does any of this ring a bell to anyone. Please help

When did you read this Shelia? Do you have any memories of the cover? Was it straight romance or one of the sub-genres like romantic suspense, romantic mystery etc? Where was it set--U.S., U.K., France etc? City, country, small town, large town?

I read it in the past two years. It was a straight romance. An I don't remember where it was set. But I do believe the H lived in a penthouse suite like place with I think one bedroom loft like that looked over the rest of the place.

I'm trying to remember what the hero was or did. I can't remember but in want to say he is either a bad boy heir to billionaire's or I thought at one time he may have been like a bad boy prince. You know the get what he wants and what women he wants and he has is own penthouse/loft in an high end building with a guard that mines the lobby and door. I also remember that when the heroine walks in to go to the hero's place the guard gives her a strange look because he knows the hero is along but doesn't say anything.
