Toño Cartín (tonnocc) | 6 comments I have been asking this question to myself, and I have to idea where to put all my postcards.

How is the place where you put your postcard collections? Share some ideas with me, you can write me an email to tonnocc@gmail.com or send me a link to some ideas you have seen.
Thanks.

Marcie | 244 comments Hello!

I use products from amazon.com -

1. Postcard Album, Trim "Classic" Style (Black or Blue) Binder by Hobbymaster, expandable

2. 20 (Twenty Pages) - BCW Pro 8 X 10 Photo Page (1 Pocket Page)

3. BCW 25ct Photo Archival Storage Binder Pages, 2-Pocket, 5x7-Inch

4. 20 (Twenty Pages) - BCW Pro 3-Pocket Page (4 X 6 Cards, Postcards or Photos)

5. BCW Pro 4-Pocket Photo Page, 3.5-Inch x 5.25-Inch (20 Pages)

6. Smead Three-Ring Binder Index Dividers, 1/5-Cut Tabs, Letter Size, White, 5 per Set, 20 Sets per Box (89415)

It is a bit of an expense, but it allows for front and back display of cards, and the different size of protectors hold many shapes and sizes of postcards.

I place the binders on a bookshelf near a wall world map that shows where I have received postcards.

Best!

Kandice | 223 comments Mine are currently stored in a pretty photo box, in a closet. After seeing what you ladies do, I'm inspired to display them.

D. George (dsavannah) | 53 comments I have six 3" three-ring binders that hold my postcards - and I actually need more! Because many are currently stored in little cubbies in my desk.

In the binders, I have 2-3 postcards in sheet protectors. I use the teensiest bit of tape on a tiny corner to hold the postcard in place.

The postcards are not really "organized" in any way, other than loosely when I received them and when I put them in the binder.

I was also given a photo album full of postcards - you know the ones that have "spaces" for a photo? Instead of a photo, it is postcards.

I don't personally like the binder rings for postcards - you would damage some that might actually be worth something someday!

D. George (dsavannah) | 53 comments PS them 'newfangled' postcard albums weren't available when I started collecting back in the dark ages. (hee hee.) But now I'm going to look into them!

Betsy | 348 comments Thanks for these ideas. I think I am gonna try one of the ones listed by Marcie. Much better than in binder clips in my drawer or in a box. ;)

This is such a great and super easy idea. I think I will look into this one too. The binder ideas are also good ideas listed here.

Penny Evenson | 128 comments I have been collecting postcards since I was 7 or 8. My grandparents traveled extensively and always sent or brought me postcards from their travels. I have them in a shoe box with index cards standing on end with the country/state on them dividing them. Hope this makes sense!

Kathy Perry | 14 comments I bought the binder Marcie mentioned. its nice but it gets full very quickly. I may find a cheaper binder and just buy the pages

Joelle.P.S | 31 comments I scan all my postcards to display on www.facebook.com/JoellesPostcrossing/, then I categorize them by country in my stamp collection. :-)

I'm so glad you shared this! I ended up doing this for my postcards and other greeting cards. It's awesome to have them to look through and was fun to put together.

Sarah | 27 comments I have an old dresser that I painted and decoupaged postcards onto it

message 19: by Gala (new)

Gala (galaer) I put them inside a cute old box with all the letters. I know it's not original, but I like it.
