okay so me and my sister Grace run and operate a christian magazine called God Girl Magazine. It is a 501(c)(3). All the proceeds go to two sponsor girls in Africa named Linda and Dorthy.

So we are having a writing contest (ages 6-17 (sorry to those of you who are older!)). All you have to do is write an essay sharing your community service or other ways you are serving the Lord!

The grand prize winner will receive a free magazine subscription (2018-2019) and they will be published in the Summer 2018 magazine! The deadline is 5/1/18.

All that we ask is that you email us your essay, name, age, address, and email.

I really, really liked Kristi Ann Hunter's book, An Inconvenient Beauty. And, also, I loved Becky Wade's True to You and Caroline Leech's Wait for Me. Plus, many, many more!

I think my favorite books were Sarah Sundin's Through Waters Deep, the Nikki Boyd Files series and Southern Crimes series by Lisa Harris, and Bloodline Trilogy by Jordyn Redwood. (I know you asked favorite book, but I could not, COULD NOT choose! LOL)

Hey guys! I have a completely unbook related question. So, my hair is straight, medium thickness, and generally pretty healthy. My problem is i have a bunch of hairs that just love the stick up, flyaways you could say, mainly on top of my head along my partline, and more and more this is getting on my nerves. Do any of yall have advice for taming this unruly area of hair?

Ohh, I have that problem too!!!! :D I guess maybe wet them down and hair-spray them?!

The same thing happens to my hair. I guess I would just spray them down. That is what I do. Other than that, I don't know what else would help.

There is frizz cream stuff for fly away hairs which would help your hair. You put it in after you shower and your hair is wet. You can also use normal conditioner, which might help. I use Suave sleek anti-frizz just incase you want to know.

Ok, thanks guys! I tried actually brushing my hair out while it was wet, and that didn't completely cure it but it did help some with the frizz. :)

Yeah, brushing helps if you don't have curls or waves in your hair. If you do have curls or waves you can also use moose to curl your hair more, and help the frizz out.
