Hey girls! I'm looking for suggestions for books for my 14 year old brother! It doesn't necessarily have to be Christian, but clean. He likes mysteries, some sci-fi, sport related, historical, and military related. Thanks for the help ya'll!

The Giver was pretty good. There is a series called My Name is America. I've never actually read any (yet) but I read all the Dear America books which they are a spin off series of, and they are very good. I believe several of them are about boys who join the military in different wars in history. He might enjoy Cinder. I got somw boy in the book club I'm in as well as my brother to read it and they all really enjoyed it.
Same, Katie!! My brother really liked Cinder. The Giver is also good...it just isn't my fave..
Hey! I decided to give up on a book I was reading that i marked as reading. Is there an "I gave up on this book" option on Goodreads?
Yeah, just make a new shelf on you account and name it whatever you want. Idk if goodreads has an official one, but I know you can make one.
There is no official option for that. I wish there was!
So, I really enjoy historical fiction. I loved Hattie Big Sky, Annie Between the States, and Forge. Does anyone have sugestions for more historical fiction like these? I think those are all YA. Preferably clean. I cant seem to find that much YA historical fiction.
Hmm...I am trying to think....I will let you know if I think of any...

I'm going to see the eclipse here in Athens, Tennessee. They say that will be the best place in the whole US to see it. O.ONot much new going on in my life....I have a cleaning business once sometimes twice a week and I babysit. That, writing, reading and church take up all of my time nowadays!

My brother is going to be able to see the eclipse! He lives in Tennessee for school!
