March Bracken Olive and Babyland is a tender, sweet, and gentle way in which to explain death to young children, older children, older adults suffering from dementia, and, in fact, most anyone. It uses the death of a bird to to help answer a child's question, "What is dying?" It is a told told with love and light and beautiful and gentle illustrations. It is a must for all families to have, for at sometime a child will ask this question and you might need help with a loving answer. For an oldster with dementia struggling to understand and accept the loss of a spouse, it would also be helpful. A must have for all!
