#1 & 2 Can all librarians claim and work on requests that are posted? Or are certain ones only corrected by mods and GR employees? should I just try to fulfill a request and if GR doesn't let me, then we flag it and/or leave it to the mods?
The manual makes clear which edits have to be left to staff or super librarians. & some threads have titles that make it clear that only staff or supers can do the work. I would suggest just starting with simpler edits - like missing page numbers & language fields & work your way up!
#3: How often do we librarians work? Do we do projects at our own paces and comfort levels or is there a number/quota we have to do?
No quota! Some librarians do have special projects or parts of GR they are interested in & others are all rounders.
If you make a mistake or are unsure of something - just ask! We were all new once!
Been browsing the GR Librarians Group posts, but I'm not seeing a thread that would answer a few of my general questions for being a new Librarian.

#2: As part of Questions 1, should I just try to fulfill a request and if GR doesn't let me, then we flag it and/or leave it to the mods?

Thank you! Happy to be a part of this group.
