Miriam (writeitreadit) | 7 comments I read this book within the past 5 to 7 years.

This book is meant for adult audiences. I can't remember if it's sweet/clean, sensual, hot/explicit.

The hero is a man of status, and is known to have quite a sweet tooth. I can't remember the heroine's societal standing, just that she helps him with his symptoms. The hero has what we know now to be diabetes.

This book is a historical romance, possibly during the Regency era.

I've only read this book in ebook format.

Miriam, how did the book refer to the hero's condition? What symptoms did he have - did he become ill?

Hi Kris -

Sorry for the delayed reply. My first time using this group and I got lost trying to find my post.

Anna found it below, but I believe he had an affinity for sweets and if he didn't satisfy his "craving" he felt odd, sweaty, lightheaded. I don't recall if he ever became ill because he went without sugar though.
