Change to my Author Name

I recently changed my author name from "Bronwen Carlyle" to "Hannah Richards." I've updated the cover images and interior of my books on Amazon (Season of Shadow and Season of Ash).

I understand that Bronwen Carlyle still has to be listed as the primary author on these books, and that the profile for that name can't just go away. But I'd like to set up a new author profile for the name Hannah Richards, where these books can be listed with Hannah Richards as a secondary author, and then any new books I publish can be under Hannah Richards.

So, can a new profile for Hannah Richards be created?

And how would I add the new editions of my books (with the new name) to that profile?

I created a Hannah Richards profile (two spaces as there are lot of various books on the default 1 space) https://www.goodreads.com/author/show...
you can claim that with a different email address.

But it will be important to keep the Bronwen profile as GR author for future new default cover settings, because that can only be done by primary GR authors and staff (or you don't keep it as GR author profile and ask staff every time)

The new covers will be normal alternate cover editions with Bronwen as primary author

set up the alternate cover editions for the kindle editions (the paperbacks aren't updated yet on amazon)

as GR author on primary position you can set the new covers as default for searches - here's explained how you do that https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

(the pub date of the new editions must be the date of the new covers, not the original one)

Thank you so much! I've claimed the books under Hannah Richards so am waiting approval on that. Another question: can I keep Bronwen as the primary author but have it say (pen name) afterwards? And can I take away the "pen name" after Hannah Richards? (Hannah Richards is my actual name, and Bronwen was a pen name.)

Wonderful! Thank you! One final question (for now): so when the paperbacks are updated on Amazon, will I just go on Goodreads and claim them under my Hannah Richards profile as well?

You can just enter them then. (they won't be imported by bot because the isbn is already on GR)
You click on "add a new edition" (then you have title and I think primary author and description already entered and it's already combined then) and choose the new cover and add a line to the description that it is an alternate cover editon for ISBN 123454 (like I did on your kindles) and then add Hannah^^Richards (keep the two spaces in mind ^=space) as other author and that's it :)

Or if you're not sure you can just ask here. (but it's really not that difficult)
