Nice month Tammie. I've been thinking of moving KKC, ASoiaf and Gentlemen Bastards to abandoned until something comes out. So annoying seeing them on my list knowing nothing is coming out.

Thanks Bill. It is really annoying, and I just have too many other things to read to keep holding onto a book that is years behind the rest of the series and may never be published.

July was a slow reading month for me, but I did get 1 series completed and 2 brought up to date. I also decided to abandon a couple more series. Ghost Roads and Keiko, because while I like them both ok, I just don't see myself interested enough to keep reading either of them as an ongoing series with no end in sight.

Overall I really liked them. They are well written and the world building is great. The last book dragged a little for me, but was still good. I did think the characters were a little hard to connect with although I liked most of them. I think it's because there are so many of them and the POV shifts between several of them.

Good call about the Sevenwaters. I made it through but the following 5 books were just copy-pastes with names changes and slight variations added here and there. This series is one of my biggest disappointments.

Yes I remember reading what you had to say about them, and also some other people in the group as well. Your opinion of them is one of the things that I considered when I decided to not continue.

Finished another 5 for 1. I've earned 3 new series through this challenge, but I'm holding off until I get my open series down to 10. I'm currently at 24 so that may be a while! Technically I've started 2 new series this month through NetGalley and my book club, but I'm not counting those in this challenge. Plus I immediately decided to abandon both of them.
