I've been on vacation, but I finally got around to doing this. Not bad for the year. I hope to do even better in 2018. I don't really have a deadline for getting anything done, I'm just hoping to continue to progress and limit how many new series I start during the year.

I started out January pretty well. I've been in a bit of a slump with reading slowing down to a crawl, but the last two books I read have brought me out of it. I'm also really happy that I'm down to only 28 series that I either need to finish or bring up to date. 28 might sound like a lot to other people but it is way less that I started with, so I'm happy. For so long it seemed so insurmountable! The 5 for 1 challenge helped a lot.

I loved the first two books. The third one went downhill for me. I didn't think it was nearly as good and so I decided not to read the last book.

Although I didn't get as much reading in as I had hoped, June was a much better month than May. This is due to the fact that I decided to abandon three series that have been on my list for a long time and also because there were two series that I added as complete that have been discontinued. Out of the books I actually read this month, I completed one series, brought two up to date, and made progress on one. I also managed to NOT start any new series this month.

Sevenwaters (1/6) Loved the first book but I've heard a lot of negative about the rest of the series. Also the fact that it is a companion series and not direct sequels make it less appealing to me.
