We met both David Cavanaugh and Carrie Granger in earlier stories. Were you left wanting more for either or both of them prior to this story? Why or why not?

[Anita]

Yes, both characters were excellent supporting actors and I really wanted to know more about both of them. I wish it could have been a full novel. Cav was a shadowy CIA agent and drop dead handsome and sexy. Carrie was the girl Wyatt's family wanted him to settle down with. She handled his rejection with dignity and grace.

We got just enough about Cav to want to know more. I was really happy to see he got at least a sliver of a story. And Carrie! I felt so bad for her, especially since I liked her more than Sophie:) It was a perfect pairing (for me:)).

Perfect paring for me too! Cav got the best girl.

[Robin]

I liked both of these characters and was glad that the author liked them enough to give them their own story.

I really liked this pairing, and I did not feel cheated by the novella length.
