Fishface | 18838 comments It's illegal to take a bath in Pennsylvania. All I can say to that is, thank Scrod for scofflaws.

I started this discussion because I read the inside of my Snapple peach tea lid, and it says "Real Fact #1400: In Alabama it's illegal to carry an ice cream cone in your back pocket at any time." I really want to know the back (pocket) story on that one.

2. It’s against the law for a woman to drive a car in Main Street unless her husband is walking in front of the car waving a red flag (Waynesboro, Virginia)

I have the heard the ice cream cone in back pocket law before. I always wonder if that was with or without ice cream.

K.A. Krisko (kakrisko) | 1297 comments You may not fish from horseback in Yosemite.

This one actually has a good reason behind it - it's to keep people from riding their horses up along a creek in fragile riparian areas and damaging the stream bed or banks. But it sounds funny.

This is the only one that makes any sense K.A.

Koren (koren56) | 1601 comments Didn't Trump say if he was elected, for every law that was passed 2 stupid ones would be abolished? Seems like I heard that.

If he did he would be robbing us of a million laughs.

Pretty much unworkable.

Call it a trademark. I heard on the news today he has a 39% approval rating.

message 16: by K.A. (new)

K.A. Krisko (kakrisko) | 1297 comments It's been hovering between about 38 and 39 for months. Seems like a pretty solid base; 1/3 of those interviewed support him. That's probably a pretty untouchable number at this point - a basement, support-at-all-costs percent.

Fishface | 18838 comments I wonder when he'll up the ante and finally alienate them, too. It reminds me of an article I read about Jim Carey alienating his comedy fans by starting to do serious roles, and the author commented that he still has plenty of fans left, "but he can still chase them off by doing an Elizabethan costume drama."

Erin | 376 comments In Kentucky its still illegal for a woman to buy a hat without her husband's permission.

Also Kentucky state law bans a woman from marrying the same man 3x.
