I have been at odds with identifying all 6 of my books under the category of GLBT Books but, frankly, that is the most obvious audience for them as my protagonists and many (but not all) of my characters are gay men. I am embarrassed to say I still am not definitely sure that they are categorized as GLBT Books on Goodreads. I do know that when asked to give "tags" I included that category in most cases, but I believe a tag is not necessarily a category, right? I think in my determination to avoid being put in that GLBT niche (alone) I may have gone overboard and my babies are just swimming around in the big vast sea of General Fiction. (But maybe I am wrong!) Can someone please tell me in simple step by step terms how I clearly identify each of my titles as being of appeal to GLBT readers? DUH; I'm sure it's pretty obvious but I still am not convinced if someone was looking for nooks under the GLBT category mine would come up! Thanks for any and all assistance.
