Jennifer | 4 comments SciFi of fantasy is probably the genre this would fall into. I remember very few details about it but want to reread it.

I remember that he went to a different planet, it had an artificial atmosphere that was kind of a dome that they made look like the sky. At one point the main character was injured. He woke up to see his own body parts floating around in tanks of liquid. That was how they healed him and they put him back together.

I remember that he was making a name for himself climbing the societal ladder socially.

Can anyone help me remember this book title?

Seveneves

Martini (shakenorstirred) | 215 comments Another palindromic scifi title: MaddAddam by Margaret Atwood.
Neither this one nor the above mentioned Seveneves contain anything about travels to different planets, though.

A guess - We Few by David Weber?

Jennifer, around what year did you read this book?

Jennifer | 4 comments I appreciate the suggestions but none of these are it sadly. the cover background was orange I believe. I read this approximately 12 years ago however the paperback I read seemed fairly aged.

Was the title one word, two, or multiple? Made up (like MaddAddam) or words that already exist?

Jennifer | 4 comments I think it was one word and it was made up. The word was not only the title but I think maybe the name of the place as well.
