Jim | 21809 comments Simple question
I don't want a tablet, I don't want the distractions, or to do my email or to faff about on line
I want something with electronic ink or at least a battery life measured in months

Somebody suggested a Kobo Aura would suit me best because I will be reading a lot of pdfs on it which don't work too well on Kindle
Also I can read kindle files on it as well as all the other options

What do people think?

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments I'll post you a KK when we get back to the UK. I'll even preload it with a load of books you like.

Email me your postal address.

Thanks, I've lost your email address when we had hard drive issues, but sent you a PM on Goodreads

Somebody was moaning about it, but he's not necessarily right, it was a guy I know talking about it a couple of years ago

Patti (baconater) (goldengreene) | 56525 comments Well, he's wrong. I load PDFs onto mine for proofreading all the time.

Yay! So pleased you're FINALLY going to have a kindle!
