Since, somehow this book doesn't appear when you search for it with 'add book/author' (even though the writer is a goodreads author), I just put a link above.
You see a part of the tux the main character (Franky Fritz) is wearing - it is a huge part of the story and his identity. And you can see a small part of the dress the lead singer is wearing.
When it counts, this would be my 7/10-th book for disctrict 8. When not, well I still have time to find another one...;)


District 9 kill: "Buddha in the Attic" has an unnamed narrator.
It took a bit of getting used to the style of writing which is a listing of sorts of the experiences of a group of Japanese Mail order brides. It is a fascinating look at the immigrant experience made poignant by the losses endured. The section on the interment camps is a study in the mental anguish of displacement. Definitely 4 stars for me.

I'm gonna have to read The Hunger Games to know what this "kill" stuff is about :) Is she rebellious? I'm having trouble with District 13. Would that work?
Yes katniss is extremely rebellious! I think the Hunger Games would be perfect for district 13.

I'm marking it off for district 4 -- takes place on a boat. It's a bit of a stretch, but there is a boat.

I've really enjoyed this challenge. Most of the books were something I was already planning on reading, but a few were chosen just to complete the challenge. I picked up Of Mice and Men for District 10 and loved it. so happy I stepped up.

The Count's wealth was only surpassed by the vengeance in his heart. District one's tributes died well their district should be proud. I wonder if the good people of district one’s heart will start filling with vengeance and clouding their mind with hate.

District 12: District 12 is the mining district, and Katniss and Peeta, its tributes, wear clothes that catch fire. The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
District 3 has been my favorite kill yet. It is a must read, it will change your outlook on life and how you treat mice. The book has many alien civilization's that are technologically advanced and has a robot named Marvin.

Half of a Yellow Sun by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie -- an excellent book about the Biafran War in Nigeria in the late 1960s. Absolutely loved it.
And that means my challenge is complete! (6/6) But I'm going to keep going and see how many more kills I can get :)
