I'm Alex James, a freelance copy editor and proofreader who works with independent fiction writers. I've put together a survey (of only 10 questions) about the importance writers attribute to both copy editing and proofreading in modern book publishing.

I'm really looking for feedback from indie writers. Your responses will hopefully help me adjust my offering to writers, validate my approach, and help me assess what the mood is.
