The book is about a hybrid her mate dies in a shooting in a club the vampires in the book have black hair with red streaks..her mate was the werewolf leader one of the four theres one leader for each species vamp were witches and something else...she gets his powers since theyre linked...its against the rules to intermingle inbetween species so no one knows shes a hybrid its a supernatural romance set in present time i read it about a year ago its part of a series i think 3 books..
