From the moment Harry lands in Hong Kong, he's rather manic in his pursuits. What did he get right? Where did he go off track?

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 2240 comments While Maddie's abduction obviously shook him, he was totally out of control and his John McClane impersonation was completely out of character for him.

I didn't buy that a seasoned detective with over 20 years of experience would behave in such a rash and stupid manner in a foreign country AND end up jeopardizing finding Maddie. It didn't jive.

I didn't either, Lauren. Just about every decision he made after landing in Hong Kong was outrageous. I know he was desperate to find Maddie but he's smarter than he behaved here. I was so disappointed.

Robin (robinmy) | 1214 comments It seemed like Harry's actions were not thought out at all. He would learn something and just start moving in that direction without thinking of the consequences. It's not the Harry that I'm used to seeing. Lauren, your comparison to John McClane is correct.

Yeah, and Harry's too old to be doing that stuff.
