h was still with her baby daddy when she went into labor, he didn't want to help her. So she had to take the bus/taxi to the hospital.
She meets H when she is sitting in the emergency room and he helps her through the labor and birth.
I think H knows her brother or something.
H takes h home with him to help her raise the baby.

I think the h's baby daddy was seeing someone else and had also gotten her pregnant or had a secret family.
