okay...I'm about 200 pages in

ANOTHER book without chapter numbers (I'm not a fan of this recent trend...lol!)

I stopped at the chapter that starts: "I close my eyes a while after that, but I don't sleep"

and wow, it's pretty action packed. I still really like this kid.

Don't you think THAT's the new bodyguard - Francisco (Frank)?? THAT'S why Lee doesn't trust Frank.
that's why they knew Daniel was lying as soon as they got him there. THAT's why they pre-chose Daniel to come to the ranch.
THAT's why Frank wanted a speaker phone turned on when Daniel called "father". I think he thought he'd recognize the voice on the other line.
I also think that's why they know how to block Daniel's phone so his calls (secure or public) aren't going to mother or father. (hide spoiler)]
