Published in 1925, this was nothing like I had imagined it would be, but it was an interesting story with some unexpected twists and turns along the way. F. Scott Fitzgerald has a flowery, poetic way with words that blossoms on each page and carries with it the rhythm of the story. This was a quick enjoyable read that I'm glad to mark off of my 'to-read' list.
