You're welcome. I did a bit of research and some reader reviews are calling these chapters.

And why do you need to know? Don't you have the book?

OP hasn't answered but I have answered this question about books before. Readers usually say they need book with at least x number of chapters either for school or a challenge. They usually don't have book but need the information before deciding to get it.
I answer because for me it's relatively easy look-up but the information seems to elude some readers.
The question I most dreaded and that I was asked several times each week, "Is/Was the author a Christian?" A local private school required authors be Christian. Not always an easy thing to find out.

If the book is part of an assignment, then there should be at least 1 copy in the library and the catalog should have that information, if not amazon, or some other website

Kimberly wrote: "...If the book is part of an assignment, then there should be at least 1 copy in the library and the catalog should have that information, if not amazon, or some other website."Sometimes a specific book is not assigned but students are told to read a book with at least a certain number of chapters. Same thing goes for challenges.
Browsing books is still not a thing in many libraries with curbside service or grab and go service but no browsing the stacks.

I'm aware: I am a retired Librarian, and would always get calls asking "How many chapters?".... Then you browse the catalog, especially if there is an author you particularly like.
If you have a really good teacher, they should have a list of titles.

Does anyone know of any fiction books where there is a strong, independent woman, that meets a strong independent male. A story of romance / love where she does not have to be "saved" by the guy on the "white horse" 2 people that come together and can live happily together and compliment each others personalities?/values I have read a few romance novels and just tired of the whole thing where the man saves the woman. No predictable ending starting at chapter one? More realistic. I do not like fairy tales, I live in reality. Help.

I’ve been looking for a book for over 10 years – of course I do not remember the name or even honestly what it is about. But I read it during a time that brings fonds memories. All I remember is really the cover… and it might be from the 80s (or maybe 90s). I read it before 2000. On the cover, there is a white girl with shoulder-length brown hair. I believe I remember her wearing a pink or light pink colonial-looking dress and behind her was a white mansion or colonial home. I believe I remember the title being in pink.If anyone knows any books that might fit this description, as small as that description is, I would forever be grateful. Like I said, I’ve been looking for this book for over 10 years. Thank you!!!
Hello All, Some advice. I am in a smut rut.
I got into smut lately and I absolutely love it, but when I try to venture away from smut I am having trouble sticking to a book. I got really into science fiction (viruses and space stuff), can anyone give me any recommendations to broaden my reading again!
Thanks so much

Thanks. Listened to books while cooking.
Great weekend to all!
My best friend and her husband retired this year. They sold everything. They are going on a year long adventure in an RV. I get custody of her car (to use and keep safe) and all her BOOKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I never babysat books before, but looking forward to having a personal library, so to speak. YAY!
I closed out my challenge for this year. I had a goal of 50, I read 46 and happy with that. BUT Goodreads said I read 50 and I am one ahead. Don't know how I am one ahead of 50! I scrapbooked my 2022 reading journal last night. It is a good book week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
QUESTION- I completed my challenge, It never posts to facebook and that is fine. But in past your challenges listed stats, pages read, etc. I am not seeing that in my challenge. Any advice or has Goodreads changed things up?

Not sure what you are asking, Laurie.
THIS group doesn't do challenges. We are a group run by volunteers, who also happen to be members of Goodreads.
If it's about Goodreads stats or a Goodreads challenge I'm afraid I can't help you. (I don't participate in any site-wide challenges, nor do I rely on Goodreads to track my reading.)

Participation here has dropped off drastically. I suppose most people have migrated to the Facebook group.
I will no longer be posting reviews or monitoring the group here.

In case you check for replies...
Thanks for your work.
Your reviews, which I read when you post, have helped me find books to read and books to avoid. I know it can be discouraging when activity drops but I appreciate the reviews and what you've done to mod this group.
My lack of participation is not due to lack of interest nor is it due to Facebook. I've posted few comments or reviews anywhere in the past year due to other things.
Thanks again.

This just posted in Help:In November 2023, you will no longer be able to sign into your Goodreads account with Facebook. If you currently sign into Goodreads with Facebook, please verify your email address and reset your Goodreads password to maintain access to your Goodreads account. Otherwise, you won’t be able to access your account and your associated book activity in November 2023.
Wow ... Do you know if this is actually official or whether someone has hacked into it to post the message?
