As we welcome the end of June, it is time to wrap up our engaging discussions about The One-in-a-Million Boy.

What were your overall feelings towards this book? Will you be recommending it to your friends? Have you already?

I found it to be a sweet, palate cleansing book which was easy to read (or listen to in my case). It is not a book that I think everyone should read (like Medicine Walk or Three Day Road) but a book that would be a quick read during a lazy summer day. I would recommend reading rather than listening as it took me a while to get used to the voice which was very low and hard to hear at the beginning.

I can already think of people to recommend this book to, but I don't think it's for everyone. For instance, I wouldn't give it to people who read only suspense and mystery. I think this character driven book is exceptional. I'm so glad BPL online book club chose this title.
