BOTM July 2017: The Wrath and the Dawn

I really don't know if I'll pick up the sequel. If I see it the library or my book swap I might. But I'm going to be searching for it. I feel like her latest book WAS better, but it still had a lot of the draggyness and lack of character development that this one had.

Not being draggy and having character development or just fleshing them out is super important to reel the reader in and create empathy. If it's the same, then it's not worth it
