Deacon and Faith get close real fast! Too fast or appropriate for the story? Did you like them as a couple?

A lot of the Karen Rose books have the insta-love thing. With the situations so intense and the time line in these books so short, I've just come to accept it. I loved them as a couple. Deacon had Faith's back and believed in her almost from the beginning. She really needed that more than anything else. Faith also accepted that Deacon had commitments and helped him as much as she could.

I agree. It takes a lot of pages to get through twenty minutes in a KR book! There's no way there would be a romance component to these books otherwise.
