Everyone from the gardener to the uncles and her cousins. It was like one became hot then dropped off then came forward again. When it became obvious that the attacks in Miami and Cincinnati were related then figuring out who was where, when got really messy. I gave up trying to figure it out and just let the book revel the baddie.
Lol! Believe it or not, Jordan was my first suspect because he should have inherited the house. He played it off as it was no big deal but I was skeptical. Then when we were introduced to his housekeeper, "Mary," I got even more suspicious.
Then I got stupid. I started suspecting Jeremy and then Stone. Stayed with them for quite some time, even Keith for a hot minute:) Jeremy dropped off because his alibi was so solid.
Then I started looking at the lawyer's grandson! I was sure it was him for a long time.
I eventually landed back with Jordan after Faith revealed her memories of that basement. I knew that wasn't Jeremy.

Yes! The lawyers grandson! I so wanted it to be him. We hadn't met him and he was an unknown. He was great, except he was to young.
I think I read that the lawyer's grandson was completely bald, or that the fictitious inspection company guy was, so I was there for quite a while, but realized it was more complex. Although he did skim money, too, and that was very tempting as a motive. When we learned there were so many bodies buried under the house, he couldn't have been the killer.I wonder where the bodies were buried when there were still twelve steps down to the basement.
