Try The Cursed Sister. It is actually based in 1972 but it is about events that took place in WW2. It features a female survivor of Belsen concentration camps hunting down a group of SS guards. I thought it was excellent and the leading female character is brilliant.
Take a look at my list Listand let me suggest a few
Fifty-years of silence by Jan Ruff-O’Herne
Hidden Horrors by Yuki Tanaka
Hitler in Hell by Martin van Creveld
A Pledge of Silence by Flora J. Solomon
Alone in Berlin by Hans Fallada
Thanks for reminding me it’s time to read another WWII book
Beneath a Scarlet Sky was one of the best WWII books i have ever read. I would love to read more like this if anyone know of them. I am tired of reading about France and Germany. I want to read about what happened in other places. I want something in Africa, Greece, or Norway
The Women in the Castle looks at women who survived after their husbands were arrested in a plot on Hitler's life.

Thank you for the non German WWII books I have them listed. I am reading Les Misérables. It is good but not a fast read,I have been reading it forever.
Joanna Trollope writing as Caroline Harvey wrote The Brass Dolphin, which is about the war as experienced on Malta. It was very good.
