Ric Santos is given the Ashley Meyer case because it is believed to be connected to his Jane Doe murder. He later discovers that Todd Burleson seriously mishandled the crime scene. Did that make you suspicious of Burleson at that moment?

No, I wasnt thinking it was a cop yet, I was also having trouble keeping the victims straight.

To be honest, I hadn't made that connection yet. I just knew there had been mishandling of the evidence. I'm not sure if it was clearly stated then that Burleson was the previous detective on the case.

I find it interesting that ultimately the two cases (the motel murder and Ashley's case were not connected). Ironic.
