When Mia tells Rachel Patterson (the DA) and the rest of the investigative team, including Ric, that she'd misplaced the evidence, did you understand why she didn't tell the whole truth? Was that the right thing to do at the time?

[Laura]

She was covering her behind. Totally understandable and I thought it was ok that she didn't tell the whole truth at hat time.

[Lauren]

Not really. It was bad enough that she destroyed evidence, but she compounded it by lying. Claiming to have misplaced the evidence does not present her in a good light and she had the opportunity to come clean and explain that she had been coerced. Everyone knew she was lying anyway.

It was a terrible decision, a TSTL moment.
