Mia is tricked into destroying evidence when she believes Sam is being held hostage. Do you believe she could have handled that situation differently or not? If so, what could she have changed?

She totally freaked out. She should have asked for Alex's help right away. My fist thought was call Ric but that would have been risky.

[Lauren]

She allowed her emotions to control her actions, which is understandable. Nevertheless, as an intelligent person, she should have verified the photograph before giving in to the caller's demands. She had options available to her as we see when she calms down and asks Alex for help.

I agree. She was just as fearful about Sam as his mother was and it took some time to gather herself.

[Lauren]

I also think that the murder of her sister Amy had a profound effect and she just couldn't bear the thought of losing her nephew as well.
