Phill | 271 comments Hi,

Just started to scan my books, so am new to this.

Scanned a books ISBN, but the goodreads edition information for that ISBN has a different cover. What should I do? The is a UK Penguin Classics edition of The Old Curiosity Shop.

The ISBN of my edition is 0-140-43742-8 (and 9780140437423) from the bar code.

Phill | 271 comments Here's my scanned cover. Similar to other editions. Could you add this as an alternative cover?

The ISBN of my edition is 0-140-43742-8 (and 9780140437423) from the bar code.

Thanks

Stan Arnold | 3 comments I don't want to be negative, but the number of problems people seem to be having with ISBN/ASIN numbers (in my case when adding a book) means Goodreads ought to get a grip. Whoever wrote the 'add your book' form has no idea about how to write forms. I've been a copywriter for 20 years, and would get fired if I wrote anything that bad. Does anyone have any ideas about what to do when you come to that part of the form? Have a look, it's crazy!

General comments about GR functionality belong in GR feedback group not here. GR librarians have no control over site functions
