The EDGE Series by Trish Loye Comparables?

Has anyone found comparable, similar authors to Trish Loye? I find the lack of repetitive graphic sex scenes and gory violence descriptions refreshing. I read her entire series and enjoyed each without having to scan past pages and pages of erections and nipples to get to the very intriguing story lines. I am of the opinion that less is more and don't mind a sexual encounter description in a romance, but so many might as well be labeled soft-core porn or erotica as we explore every second and inch. And if that is your forte then, by God, label it as such and enjoy away! No judgement here. I just hate to purchase these things expecting a good read and ditch it a couple of chapters in because I have had enough of flipping past the stroking and laving and pumping while trying to find a story in there somewhere. I really enjoyed each of the female characters, strong in their own right and not just looking for a man to 'complete' her. I also greatly appreciate the 'fade to black - you know what is happening' instances of Trish Loye's work when the story required an understanding of rape and torture in ISIS controlled territory. It's funny that when I enjoy TV series and books that show this kind of restraint, I discover that they are usually Canadian or Australian! (Yes, I am an American) Anyway, anybody found a similar or comparable? I really enjoyed these books.
