yeah I tried reading both of her other contemporaries and DNF'd them both - I thought this one had been the one to shine for me

It was just ok. Nothing too bad and actually nothing special or good except of web-development theme.

Recently I've also read another romantic book and there was a spark which made it a page-turner.
But here there was no sparks at all. I'm a bit disappointed as this book was recommended to me and had a really good reviews amongst people I know.
Both the main characters felt plain and here I didn't liked all that fluff about being beautiful and charming.
Also the part where they decided to have sex felt a bit out of place.
And the talent show... agrh! Sooo so so predictable.
I mean rom-coms are mostly predictable, but some of them have the sparkle in the way from being apart to being together. And if the book misses it, you know, for me it becomes a waste of time.

Also, I would feel the same way as Celia, right now, but GOOO Dimple and her great advice.

I did not expect her to say that she would want to go further, that soon to the start of everything. Especially, since she was so against the relationship at first.

Oh yeah Evan is such a douchenozzle!! Celia and Evan's relationship seems so abusive, based on Celia's reaction to all of it. He is totally manipulating her in some way, I don't think she would have reacted this way to both, Dimple, Ashish, and Evan, if she wasn't.

Dimple she does not love Evan, she is being manipulated in some way.
