Why Liam so mean to Wavy?

In the entire book Liam has been pretending Wavy doesn't exist, when he does acknowledge her, he was really mean, but he obviously doesn't treat Donal that way, so WHY????

Wavy was trained to not trust Liam.

Donal liked being with Liam.

He was known for trying with her when she was young, but then when she got older and he thought she was "weird" he just thought she was a bitch and hated her. He thought she was just all over the place.
