Hey everyone! Sorry I've been a bit MIA lately; things have been pretty crazy for me lately.
How has your summer been going so far? We have about 6 more weeks left for the challenge. How close are you to finishing?

I'm a bit behind on reading, but I hope to catch up in the end of August when I go on vacation. ;-)
I'm not sure if I'm going to make it. Things have gotten super busy lately and I'm only on my non-fiction book!

No worries! I'm even behind you. I'm only about 3 pages through my non-fic, lol! O:O

Anyone listen to classical music? I'm not a faithful listener, but I was the other day, and rediscovered my passion for Bach, Chopin, and Corelli. Favorite composers, anyone?

Umm, YES! I love classical music! I listen to it all the time while doing school, and I love to play it. :) Tchaikovsky is my favorite overall. And I love to play Clementi, Beethoven, and Grieg.

I listen to it while I'm doing school also! But here lately, the technical jargon has been too much to process without complete silence. I don't think I've ever heard of Grieg! I enjoy the other ones you mentioned as well.
Emily wrote: "Anyone listen to classical music? I'm not a faithful listener, but I was the other day, and rediscovered my passion for Bach, Chopin, and Corelli. Favorite composers, anyone?"Yes. I like a lot of composers. Of course, Beethoven, J.S. Bach and the like, but also Ravel. I also just enjoy instrumental music from modern composers too.

Same! I love Alan Menken (so I like Disney instrumental....XD). And I enjoy the soundtracks to the Nancy Drew games, mostly by Kevin Manthei. Kind of a weird mix. I need more exposure, obviously. Which begs the question, who are some of your favorite modern composers?

Edvard Grieg writes more peaceful stuff, which is fun to play. :)

I'm still in the middle of my non-fiction. At first it was really boring and kinda dry, but once I reached the part were it's mostly Jane's letter to Cassandra...Jane had an incredible sense of humor!
Just posted the 3rd giveaway in the Giveaway channel! This one for London in the Dark, by my own lovely sister and co-mod, Victoria Lynn. :)

A friend of mine previewed some of his music on her blog a couple of years ago. That's how I discovered him. :)

Question: when y'all read novella collections, do you review each novella separately, under its individual posting as a novella, or together, under the posting of the collection? I hope this makes sense. Because I feel like posting reviews under them individually might look like I'm inflating my book count, but I would prefer to distinguish them that way and rate them separately. AND you CAN read them separately as e-books. BUT. You know?

I think I've only read one novella collection, but I reviewed it all under the posting of the collection, but delineated each novella and kinda reviewed them separately. Here's the link so you can see what I'm talking about. ;)

I personally would review them separately. I don't think you'd be inflating your book count by doing that. They ARE separate books, after all! :)
