Title : FallingPoet : Edward Davies
Plummet like a lemming
From a height too great to measure
A terrible falling sensation
Instant fear and pleasure
Adrenalin rushes throughout
Your every vein and bone
As finally you plunge and leap
Into the great unknown
A dreamThe whisper of the sirens was his guide
The sea - a vast and mystic wonder
His ship was half destroyed,
but on death he did not ponder.
Wherever he was going it was not to be for a mortal's sight
Still his heart was drumming and his hands shook
His eyes watered at the curious inscription on the explorer's book
He was to become a god of might, a titan
All he had to do was to continue on, and fight
