Majd (majoudi) | 23 comments this book belonged to my late grandma and i don't know for how long she had it. i read like 6 years ago
it's really old I'm not sure when it's about a king who arranged a marriage between a duke ( in his twenties ) and titled girl (a redhead in her early teenage years i think) to make peace between them but the girl stays with her family until she is older and then she will move to his estate but then someone kills her father and tries to kill her and her brother but she escapes to Paris and they make look like her husband the duke is the one who did it and she believes it so she hides her identity and works as an actress and she becomes famous and people travel form England to watch her and her husband goes with his friend nut he doesn't recognize her she wants revenge so she makes him fall in love with her and she sleeps with him and leave him with a letter to explain everything but the she finds out that she is pregnant and the she has to go and live with him
that is all that i remember

wow Majd--you had a Grandmother who read? I don't think my Gran ever picked up anything more than a magazine. And not too many of them.

I hope you can find this book since it's a reminder of your Gran.

La Flamme (1995) by Constance O'Banyon seems to match your description.

Google search -- site:www.goodreads.com "historical romance" arranged marriage "actress" "paris"
