Other: Only Hearing girl to attend Carlton, claims it's much easier then Hearing Schools. Met Toby at a party he and Wilke attended, she became cast friends with Toby but she and Wilke hate each other for odd reasons.

(yeah that's fine :) I think it's interesting that their lives have crossed in a small way, make it all the weirder like when daphne and bay find out that they used to go to the same restaurant all the time and wondered if they had ever been there at the same time and didn't even know)
( okay cool, how should we start? )
(Uhh if you wanna start when bay comes home with the blood test and then skip and talk to her friend about it the next day or whatever and I can figure something out for daphne, or wait until she comes into play)
( hmmm, okay. We can start when Bay comes home with the blood test, and if you wanna figure something for Daphne to do, go ahead. )
Bay had just come home from school with the blood test that they had done in Biology that day and she was both confused and excited to tell her parents that she had an A/B ( I think it was A/B ) Blood type. When her parents did come home, she definitely told them and showed them the blood test, they claimed, however, that it was impossible considering John and Kathryn were both the same blood type.
(( honestly I forgot what Blood Type everyone was XD ))
(you're right :) J and K are A)Daphne came home from Carlton with a smile. She had spent some time with Emmett and Melody before heading home to make dinner for her mom and grandma. She stepped in and was greeted with a warm welcome. She headed to the kitchen and pulled out everything necessary to make her famous vegetable lasagna.
Bay didn't understand how it was impossible, but she also didn't understand why she had a different blood type from her parents, she didn't give up though and told her parents that maybe they should do a real Blood Test to make sure and they agreed. Bay went upstairs to her bedroom to do homework or whatever and text her friend Basil.
Basil had already finished her homework. She was some what of an over achiever. Hey what's up? she texted back instantly. She was bored out of her mind, and Bay was the only person who had texted her. She thought about talking to Wilke, but he was probably playing poker with Toby.Daphne sighed softly and texted Corbin, Hey, famous lasagna tonight if you're up for it! Corbin was Daphne's best friend, aside from Emmett of course. She set her phone on the counter and kept glancing at it as she layered in the ingredients.
Bay smiled when she immediately got a text back, You know the blood test we took today in Bio?Bay replied as she slowly sat down on her bed, setting her phone aside as she took some homework out of her bag and tried to do some of it. Bay couldn't believe it though, she had a different blood type then her parents, she that it was cool in some way because it meant she was different from her parents.
Both Corbin's parents were both Deaf, people found it a miracle that Corbin was born with the ability to hear and doctors had deemed it impossible when Corbin was born. She currently sat with her Father as he talked to her what happened today when he was at work and how his interpreter had punched a guy for calling her father Retarded. She laughed, and looked down at her phone when she got a text, she smiled softly Famous lasagna night? I'm totally up for it! I'll be there in five! Corbin sent before telling her father, who smiled and told her to go. She jumped up and grabbed her car keys, she waved bye to her mother as she passed her.
Yeah what about it? she responded and sat up. Did she have some disease? Was she going to die? Did she find out she was adopted?! So many endless possibilities! Do you want me to come over? Is everything ok? she sent before Bay had time to respond.Daphne smiled sweet! See you soon! she texted back and slid the tray into the oven. "Hey, Corbin is coming over for dinner, shall we break out a goofy horror film?" she asked everyone.
Her mom nodded, "sounds great, what about The Shinning?" she signed.
"Awesome choice"
Bay looked at the text, Turns out I have a different blood type then my parents Bay answered before she went back to doing her homework.
Corbin hopped into her car and once she started the car and buckled up, she drove to Daphne's. Daphne was one of her best friends besides Emmett and Toby; she started humming a tune she had heard from one of Daphne's CDs.
Basil's brows shot up. Adopted!! She knew it! I'm on my way!! She had to hear this in person! She grabbed her keys and ran down the stairs in her fancy Mission Hills house and flew to her car. She started it up and sped her way over.Daphne set the timer for an hour and then went to the couch to wait for her friend. She smiled at her mom and grandma who were bickering over what snacks to provide for the movie.
Bay sighed softly when her friend said she'd be over soon, she went back to doing her homework or what she could manage as she sat there and waited for her friend to come over.
Corbin arrived at Daphne's and parked her car in front, she saw Ty and smiled, she waved at him as she got out before she headed up to Daphne's.
She was there faster than normal. She rang the doorbell and greeted J and K. "Hello, I'm here to see Bay" she smiled."Oh it's good to see you Basil" said Kathrine. She waved her up the stairs and Basil shot up them. She knocked on Bay's door, "Hey can I come in?"
Daphne smiled and got the door. She lead her inside, "Hi how are you?" she asked gently while signing. "I'm glad you came over, mom thinks we should watch The Shinning, what do you think?"
Once Basil was up in her bedroom, she quickly closed her door after her friend walked in and then hurried to move her homework onto her floor, " I don't think I'm adopted you know...but I just find it so cool that I have a different blood type then my parents," Bay said.
Corbin grinned, ' The Shinning is a horrible movie, but I would love to watch it again with you guys,' Corbin signed with a laugh, she saw Regina and Adriana, she waved to them before looking back at Daphne.
Basil's brows raised. Not adopted? "Why? did they seem surprised? and I mean it's medically impossible for you to have a different blood type...unless your mom cheated!" her eyes went wide in shock and she sat next to her.Daphne laughed with her and nodded, "alright, they were fighting over what snacks to eat for the movie, but I don't know that we will need any because of dinner" she rolled her eyes a little.
Bay raised an eyebrow, " What?! Why would my Mom cheat?! Who would she cheat in my dad with?!" Bay asked as she sat down for bed.
' True, the lasagna would keep you feeling full for days, no need for snacks,' Corbin joked. Corbin loved coming over to Daphne's, whether it was for dinner, studying or just hanging out, most of the time they were with Emmett or even Ty, but Corbin liked coming over because it gave her somewhat of a break of being yelled at by her parents.
Basil shrugged, "I dunno, these are all questions you should ask them....are you getting a blood test done?" she asked and pulled out her laptop to start doing some research. "If you need help with homework since I'm here..." she trailed off and began searching different blood types of children.Daphne giggled and nodded. A light flashed and daphne turned to the oven. Her timer was going off so she went over and pulled out the lasagna. Everything looked done so she turned the oven off and set it down to cool on some hot pads. "Dinner will be ready once it cools a bit more"
Bay sighed and shook her head, " We're getting a professional Blood test done," Bay replied before she went and picked up her homework, setting it down on the bed, " I do need help with Trigonometry," Bay said.
Corbin grinned and nodded, ' Can't wait,' Corbin said.
She nodded and looked up, "oh that was a piece of cake" she said and walked over to her. She sat beside her and helped her work through the homework.She cut up the pieces once it had cooled and dished up a piece to everyone. "A corner piece just for you". She smiled and handed her the plate and a fork then joined her at the table.
Bay smiled, " Thanks, J and K will definitely be happy if I get an B or C on this thing," Bay said as she opened the books.
Corbin grinned, ' Thank you future famous Chef,' Corbin said to Daphne before joining everyone at the table. She looked at Regina, " How are things going with your Home Hair Salon?" She asked, vocally and with her hands.
Basil smiled, "Anything to help a friend" she assured. She helped her finish up then leaned back, "Are you gunna be ok? I can totally stay over if you need me too" she offered.Daphne giggled and nodded, "You're very welcome"
Regina smiled as she looked up, "It's great. Business is booming as usual I even have 2 new clients" she lied gently. She didn't want to worry Daphne, but business wasn't booming. People were staring to be unable to afford haircuts, and the two new clients replaced some regulars.
Bay chuckled, " I think I'm going to be just fine, Basil," Bay lied. She didn't think she was going to be fine, she always felt like their was something different about her and now that she found out about this blood test thing, it only made this worse. She didn't want to believe that she wasn't her mother or her fathers child and she really didn't want to believe that perhaps her parents cheated on one another and one of them had her. It was all hard to take in and she needed someone to talk to, so she turned to Basil, " I can do Trig in the morning, but do you really think my Mom could have cheated on my Dad?" Bay asked. Corbin smiled at Regina, " Well, if you need more customers, Mum and Dad are looking for a new Salon to go to since their old one got more expensive and they can't really afford to go anywhere else, and I've sprained my wrist more then once doing their hair....so I can definitely tell them about you if you'd like," Corbin offered. Corbin was one who lived off of whatever her parents could afford and get her, and some would think that they lived off money with what her parents find around places or get from people. She knew how hard it was for Regina, Daphne, and Adriana, and others who were in the same predicament where they lived.
She shrugged, "I dunno...but it would make sense because your parents are the same blood type...I mean unless they stole you or the hospital switched you with another baby" she laughed a little. "Imagine that...two babies getting swapped...boy would that be a huge lawsuit!" she shook her head. "But you'll find out for sure tomorrow won't you?"Regina grinned, "That would be fabulous, thank you very much" she signed and spoke. Daphne smiled as she followed back and forth while eating. The lasagna was still a bit hot but it was delicious!
Bay smiled softly, " Yeah, imagine that," Bay replied as she looked down at the book on her bed, what if they stole her from a hospital or her parents, what if she was switched with someone else, what if they were out there living a much better life then she was.
Corbin grinned," Great, I'll tell them when I get home" Corbin answered before looking at Daphne, ' This lasagna is delicious, as always,' Corbin signed with a smile. Corbin sucked at cooking, the only thing she managed to do was bake delicious treats and pastries, something she inherited from her Father.
She frowned a little and looked at her, "You just need to chill...take your mind off it...wanna watch a movie?" she suggested. "And I mean...even if something is amiss you're still their daughter...I mean they raised you and they love you"Regina nodded and ate. So did Adriana. Daphne blushed a little and smiled, "Thank you very much!" She signed happily.
Bay nodded, " You're right, I need to chill, they love me, and I love them," Bay said, she repeated that in her head, " What kind of movie do you want to watch?" Bay asked.
' Your welcome Daphne,' Corbin said before she began eating more of the Lasagna, it really was delicious and Corbin absolutely loved it.
Basil walked over to the movie cabinet and pulled out The Shinning, "How about this old thing?" she asked with a smile.((Shall we skip until after the blood test? I dont remember how they meet, can you refresh me?))
(( lets skip to after the blood test. Also they met when Regina came down to the blood test thingy with Daphne ))
(Ok, so they are all meeting for the "first" time then))Daphne's heart was pounding. This was crazy. Switched at birth? How did that even happen? Regina wasn't her mom? But honestly, she was her mom. She had been there her entire life, through everything, turned their lives upside down when she went deaf.
Bay couldn't believe this was happening, she didn't want to believe it was happening, she and this red haired girl had been switched at birth and they just now found this out. That means J and K aren't her biological mother and father, and Toby isn't her biological brother, she looked over at the woman beside the red haired girl.
Daphne gulped as she looked between them. The strangers were all staring at her in wonderment, like how could she even exist? She looked at her mom and Regina gave a little nod. She stepped forward, "Hello" She said softly. That's when her biological parents kind of broke down.
Bay just kinda sat there and watched as her parents suddenly broke down in front of their biological daughter. She looked at the woman the girl came with and looked at her closely, she frowned slightly and stood.
Daphne looked at Regina for help and she shrugged. What was she supposed to do? These were people she didn't even know...her biological parents..She looked at the other girl and went over to her. "Hi, I'm Daphne" She said and signed. Regina smiled a little at the effort she made and stepped over to Bay as well.
Bay watched the other women as she came closer to her, she then turned her head toward the red head, " I'm Bay," she responded before she looked back at the woman.
She waved at Toby, "Nice to meet you all" she said. Then K started to wave her inside while talking loudly, "Lets have some LUNCH" she smiled.Regina pursed her lips, "No matter how loud you yell she can't hear you...Just make sure to face her and talk normally, but not too fast"
(( am I playing Toby? )) Bay watched as her mother and father watched the red haired girl with smiles permanent on their faces, Toby and her were just staring at them oddly before Toby turned to Daphne and Bay turned towards Regina. Basil was not going to believe this.
((lol sure, I figured we could just pick them up as we went along))Daphne smiled a little awkwardly as they were led inside. Regina looked around the house in slight awe, but fell back to that stereotype of privileged rich white republican people. Daphne looked over at her and signed, be nice.
(( ah...I'm sorry....but I sorta lost interest in this....it's not your fault btw, I just...I lost sudden interest.
((Oh my gosh! I'm so glad you said that hahaha, I lost interest too. is there anything else you wanna do?))
