Nik Krasno | 19865 comments Say, you know a war hero, one of the astronauts, who's been on the Moon mission, ex-president, mafia boss or self-made billionaire and they look for an author to collaborate on the memoir. Money aside, would you find such a project interesting and inspiring enough?

Ian Miller | 1857 comments I think it would depend on the person. If the person was really interesting, then probably yes, but if they were that interesting, they would probably find someone with a better platform to do it. So somehow I don't think it is all that likely.

Shoshanah Shear (shoshanahs) | 33 comments I'd write someone's memoirs but for specific situations, e.g. someone who is elderly and nearing the end of their life, wishing to leave a legacy for their family. Someone who has a terminal illness and wants to leave a memory for children. It fits with my profession to help clients to complete unfinished business.

I'd also write someone's memoirs if they have a positive message to share, but not maffia or anything negative or problematic
