i found *and the mountains echoed* (heretofore knowns as ATME) to be SO superior to *a thousand splendid suns ATSS * (which i am ploddingly getting through/aka reading currently.) however i felt ATME was so rich comparatively speaking to ATSS. perhaps when i'm finished ATSS i'll be able to articulate myself more comprehensively regarding this comparison? all i can say at this moment looking back is that i didn't want ATME to end, and i'm feeling - GET ON WITH IT ALREADY with a thousand splendid suns!! does anyone else feel this way?

I agree with you friend.I read ATME after fininshing ATSS. So I couldn't have never been better you see...It was like a Treat after Treat experience.ATSS was simply amazing and ATME was something more. I felt like ATME was worth a lot more comparing to ATSS.You want more of it just like you mentioned that you didn't want ATME to end. But most of my friends have different opinions.I am happy I see a person with almost a similar opinion as mine.
ATME to me is a really boring book, while ATSS is better to me.
