"Nineteen," Charlie replied, taking a bite from his food and studied Ange carefully. "If you don't want to, that's fine."Silvius looked back and forth between Ange and his brother. "Where are you guys going?"
"That's is not your business," Charlie said sternly. "I'll tell mother and father when we're about to go."
"Of course you can," Mr. Armitage said before mama could protest. "Help yourself to whatever you want."When Ange said Silvius could join too, he smugly smiled. "Why thank you, Ange. I would be happy to join you guys."
Charlie, meanwhile, shot daggers at Silvius.
((Oh! Have you watched the Brady Bunch? The 60s-70s one?))
((Oh! The old one. XD Because this totally reminds me of that episode when Gregg was taking a girl out and Peter went along with him to a drive-in theater. XD))"Er, welllll, I'll tell you after dinner," Charlie said to her, smiling.
"Man, I'm coming with you guys and you aren't even going to tell us now?" Silvius asked.
"You can wait until dinner, can't you?" Charlie said hotly.
((It's a great show! I love it! XD))"Wonderful," Silvius said, rolling his eyes.
"You're welcome," their father said with a warm smile "now I do believe you had something to tell us Charlie?"
"How about Silvius clears out?"
"Oh come on! I'm coming with you guys anyway!"
"Fine," Charlie grumbled. "I was thinking of taking Angie to the movies."
"That's it!" The twins exclaimed, hooting with laughter
"Awwww. Isn't that cute," Charlie drawled. "So you're single Ange, how about we go out on a date later tomorrow?"
Both parents dropped their utensils. "Charlie," their father was the first to speak, "you shouldn't say things that you won't be able to keep."
"Don't worry," Charlie waved them off and smirked, "I'll definitely keep this promise." He returned his attention to Ange. "Well? How about it?"
There were a million things wrong with this. Ange could be so Taken with him that they would be a couple. And no doubt Charlie would flirt his way into that relationship. And it wasn't like Silvius had a huge problem with it but. . . Ange was just passing through, wasn't she? So maybe nothing would happen.
