Hi everyone! I'm a professional editor based in Toronto, Canada. The services I offer are mainly editing and proofreading, but I also have experience as a beta reader giving detailed feedback to authors about their stories. If needed, I can provide a beta read along with a copy edit (in which case, the beta read will be free!).

I have experience working with both fiction and non-fiction. My favourite genres of fiction are horror and fantasy, but I am very well-read all around, and I can work with generally any genre.

Copy/Line Editing: At the copy/line editing stage, I will edit your manuscript for the mechanics of style, including spelling, grammar, punctuation, word usage, and style specifications. I will also work with sentence structure and flow, and I'll ensure that your meaning is clear and that there is consistency in the details. I can edit in British, Canadian, or American English – choose the dictionary of your choice.

Proofreading: At the proofreading stage, I will read and edit your final manuscript for minor mechanical errors, such as typos, spelling errors, and deviations from style and consistency. If your manuscript is in its final form, I will also check the formatting for any problems.

Hi,
I'm looking for an editor. I'm working on my second book in my series. The person who edited my first book is now unavailable and I need to find someone new. You should now that I have no writing background and just write what is in my head. I can tell you I have tense issues. My first editor spent a lot of time working on that issue for me. I ended up with my first book in 1st person past. I'm only half way through the second book but I wanted to have what I have written reviewed so I can attempt to correct the tense issue as I write the remaining part of the book. I would like to send the 1st chapter just to see what you think about possibly editing for me. Also, I would like to know your pricing. If it ends up that you edit for me I will send you my first book if you would like to read it before reviewing the second one.
