Lyn stood there waiting impatiently. She was having the weapon smith sharpen her knife, which she believed had gotten too dull over the past days. Lyn leaned against the wall with a smirk on her face.
Lyn nodded her greeting, "Hello, Kane," she turned her head back to the counter, waiting for her knife. Her fists clenched and unclenched with impatience.
She shook her head, "Just my knife, that weapons smith is taking his sweet old time," she glanced over at him, "What about you?"
Lyn pulled out her knife and handed it to him, hilt first, "Here."
((*Facepalm!* I just realized it said infirmary, not armory! Ugh! I feel so stupid!!!))
((*Facepalm!* I just realized it said infirmary, not armory! Ugh! I feel so stupid!!!))
((I saved face and changed the name for you XD we needed an armory anyway))"I'll try not to ruin it." he smirks and makes his way into the forge area.
Lyn watched him carefully, making sure he wasn't damaging her knife. She leaned casually against the wall, waiting.
Lyn glanced up, caught him staring and raised an eyebrow, the side of her mouth quirked up into a half-smile, "What?"
Her smile quickly disappeared and her head snapped up, she looked around quickly, then relaxed back again.
((sorry totally missed this on my notifications))He watches her curiously, "What did you do to break this?"
Lyn shook her head, "I guess I need a better knife if its going to break when I practice. Who knows what would happen when I really needed it?"
"Yeah." he agrees, "Or just get a new casing for this one- plate it in gold or something." he smirks, "Ya know if you have gold just laying around."
Lyn caught it, scratching her palm with the blade by accident. She pulled her hand away quickly in her surprise, then clenched it at her side, turning her attention to the knife, "This is definitely nicer than mine. Where did you find it?" She gave the blade another glance then swung it back around, testing its balance.
Lyn grunted, giving the blade a few more flicks around. She tossed it back to him and opened her other hand to examine her cut palm.
He catches it and glances over, "You cut yourself on it?" he questions briefly worried he tossed it too hard.
"Yeah. I'll be fine, just a little cut," She dismissed his concern quickly, shaking the blood off her hand with a flick of her wrist.
He grabs the first aid kit and takes out a bit of guaze. He reaches his hand out for her to give him her hand.
"Thank you." he says with a devilish smirk, "I don't bite." he adds. He looks at the cut and cleans it.
Lyn flinched at his touch, then forced her tense muscles to relax, "I wish I could say the same," she joked.
"You wouldn't bite me though- I did just help fix you...well after I injured you." he says patching up her palm.
Lyn looked up at him, "It wasn't your fault. I was the one who caught the blade-end of a knife without thinking."
He shrugs, "I could have given you a little more heads up." he says finishing and dropping her hand and hands her back her dagger.
"Nah, don't worry about it," She took her dagger and examined it closely, "Its better to be caught off guard now then in the middle of a fight."
